Frequently Asked Questions
1. Which service is right for me?
Real Estate Photography Subscription Plans: Ideal if you frequently list or update multiple properties, requiring consistent, high-quality real estate imagery.
Essential & Signature Shoots (One-Time): Perfect if you need a single project covered—like a special launch, new product, or a limited update to your brand visuals.
Modular Monthly: Great for businesses wanting regular, fresh content (restaurants, salons, lifestyle brands), without having to book separate shoots each time.
2. What’s included with each service?
Real Estate Subscription: You’ll get a set number of property shoots each month (or quarter), each covering 15–20 professional images of interiors, exteriors, and key selling points.
Essential Shoot: Delivers 10 high-quality, edited photos.
Signature Shoot: Around 20 edited images plus a short 30–60 second video.
Modular Monthly: Typically 1–2 shoots per month, each yielding 10–15 photos plus 1 short video (30–60s). You can adjust specifics based on your needs and subscription level.
3. How do I decide between one-time shoots vs. a subscription?
One-Time (Essential/Signature): Great if you have an occasional need or want to test the waters with your first professional shoot.
Subscription (Real Estate or Modular Monthly): Recommended if you consistently need fresh visuals—whether for frequently updated listings, seasonal promotions, new product lines, or ongoing marketing campaigns.
4. Can I test the service before fully committing to a subscription?
Yes. A single trial shoot is available for $1,000. If you decide to subscribe afterward, the trial fee is deducted from your first month’s fee. This applies to both Real Estate and Modular Monthly subscriptions.
5. What is the typical turnaround time?
Photo-Only Projects: You can generally expect the final edits within 2–3 business days after the shoot.
Projects Including Video: Delivery may take 4–5 business days, to allow time for editing footage.
Rush Delivery: A 24-hour turnaround is available for an additional fee (subject to approval).
6. Do you travel, and are travel costs included?
For local shoots within Southern California & New York (as stated on your site), there’s typically no additional travel fee.
For locations outside these areas, travel expenses (flight, mileage, lodging) may apply, which you’ll see itemized in your estimate or discussed upfront.
7. How many revisions or edits are included?
Basic color correction and retouching are standard, ensuring images look polished and on-brand.
Minor tweaks (e.g., adjusting brightness) are included.
Major revisions (e.g., heavy retouching, large compositional changes) may incur extra fees, which will be clearly communicated if needed.
8. Who owns the rights to the photos and videos?
You (the client) receive a usage license to use the final images/videos for marketing, online, and print.
Typically, the photographer retains the copyright, allowing use in portfolio or promotional materials.
If you need exclusive rights (no portfolio use, etc.), let us know; we can discuss a buyout fee or alternative license arrangement.
9. What if I need more shoots than my subscription plan covers?
Additional Shoots: You can add extra projects at a set fee (e.g., $750 each) without having to upgrade your entire plan.
Upgrading: If you consistently need more shoots every month, it may be more cost-effective to upgrade to a higher subscription level.
10. What happens to unused shoots at the end of the month?
Roll-Over: Any unused shoots carry over into the next billing cycle, provided your subscription is renewed. For instance, if your $4,500 plan includes 4 shoots per month and you only used 2, next month you’ll have 6 total.
Expiration: If you decide not to renew, unused shoots expire or can be retained by paying a $750 management fee per shoot.
11. Can I reschedule or cancel a shoot?
Rescheduling: We understand schedules can change. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Cancellation: If you cancel a booked shoot with less than 48 hours’ notice, the shoot may be deducted from your plan or deposit. Specific policies can be discussed per project.
12. Is there a minimum commitment for the subscriptions?
Real Estate Subscription: Minimum 2 months.
Modular Monthly: Also a minimum 2-month commitment. This ensures enough time to plan, execute, and deliver consistent high-quality shoots for your brand.
13. What if I’m not satisfied with the final images or video?
Initial Review: You’ll have a chance to review the content and request small adjustments (e.g., minor color/brightness changes).
Re-Shoot Policy: If we missed a critical shot due to a genuine oversight, we’ll correct it at no additional cost. However, if the dissatisfaction is based on changes outside the agreed-upon brief, an extra fee may apply.
